Paul McCartney Gives Up Marijuana at Age 69

According to a report from the Huffington Post, former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has revealed in a new interview with Rolling Stone Magazine that he has decided to quit smoking pot for his 8-year-old daughter Beatrice.

“I smoked my share. When you’re bringing up a youngster, your sense of responsibility does kick in, if you’re lucky, at some point... Enough’s enough -- you just don’t seem to think it’s necessary," he said.

McCartney also revealed that it was Bob Dylan that first introduced him to marijuana.

McCartney was famously arrested in Japan and deported from the country after being caught with cannabis.
