21-year-old rapper Soulja Boy, born DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested in Georgia at 3:15 a.m. today after being pulled over for a traffic violation with four other males who were also arrested.
Soulja Boy is best known for his 2007 release "Crank That." The hit was nominated for the Best Rap Song Grammy award but lost to the Kanye West and T-Pain duet "Good Life."
Authorities say they found guns, along with a 'substantial amount' of marijuana and cash. One source said the drugs and cash were worth at least $70,000, according to a report from My Fox New York.
