California Could Opt Out of Controlled Substances Act with Ballot Initiative

In response to a recent crackdown on medical marijuana by the Obama administration, one California activist has come up with a novel new way to get around the Federal Government's marijuana laws: By using a ballot initiative to opt out of the Federal Controlled Substances Act. He admits that the Feds will probably challenge the initiative, but says the legal tools necessary to defeat them are written into the initiative. Read the whole story at Cannabis Culture Magazine:
