How They Make So-Called Synthetic Marijuana
The truth is, there's no such thing as 'synthetic marijuana'. Products like 'Spice' and 'K2' are nothing more than a nasty chemical concoction sprayed onto some kind of incense-like smoking medium. The products contain synthetic cannabinoids, which where created in a lab, and while they may mimic some of the same affects as the cannabinoids found in real, natural cannabis, they have also been know to cause major psychosis that can last for months at a time.
There have been tons of stories in the news about people completely losing their shit while high on this stuff, like this guy who decide to eat his dog, or this guy who turned in to some sort of "naked ninja zombie", and apparently lots and lots of people in Florida. There's even an entire Facebook page dedicated to synthetic marijuana horror stories.
The point is, so-called 'synthetic marijuana' is nasty, nasty stuff that in no way resembles real, natural cannabis. If you're thinking about smoking or trying to make synthetic marijuana, I beg you to reconsider. The health affects of artificial cannabinoids have never really been studied, but it should be obvious to anybody with half a brain that they're no good. Do yourself a favor and stick with real bud. You'll be glad you did.
